Just a little scripture for those moments when you feel, like I do sometimes, that figuring out the way forward with my kids is like charting a path thru an unknown wilderness….

Isaiah 35

1 The wilderness and the solitary place shall be glad for them; and the desert shall rejoice,..

2 … and rejoice even with joy and singing:

3 Strengthen ye the weak hands, and confirm the feeble knees.

4 Say to them that are of a fearful heart, Be strong, fear not: behold, your God will come … he will come and save you.

5 Then the eyes of the blind shall be opened, and the ears of the deaf shall be unstopped.

6 Then shall the lame man leap as an hart, and the tongue of the dumb sing: for in the wilderness shall waters break out, and streams in the desert.

10: they shall obtain joy and gladness, and sorrow and sighing shall flee away.

Thanks, I needed that. With Jerianne’s IEP coming up we need all the help we can. Thinking of pulling her out of this lousy transition program a year early—she can start at Autism Works any time she wants too—she is thinking in the fall when school would start. Getting her signed diploma early would give her a great uplift! She could have gotten it right away after senior year, but then would not have been able to do all of the classes she had for free.

  2. It’s amazing what we put up with for $- — But I think you’re doing great, keep it going. 🙂
